Talson’s Founder & President, Robert S. Bright, participated in APTA’s Mobility Conference in March, and served as a panelist in the Business Academy Mentoring Program. The program was designed to assist DBE/MBE/SBE/WBE businesses and other minority-owned APTA small business member firms in successfully competing in the public transportation marketplace.
Last September, Talson’s own Kenneth Brzozowski presented at the National Association of Construction Auditors (NACA) Conference in Nashville. We enjoyed seeing clients, partners and peers at the sessions led by industry experts and colleagues.
In September 2021, Talson also attended the Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA) Conference in Clearwater, Florida.
The “Inspiring Stories from Our Business Community” segment sponsored by The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia released a segment in May of 2020, highlighting the Talson Employee Community Fund which has selflessly donated to small businesses and nonprofits. We are People Helping People!
We are proud of the Talson Employee Community Fund! Our employees created the fund to support fellow small businesses and nonprofits in our surrounding community, as well as our clients during the current pandemic. Our generous employees have provided lunches to ER workers at Chestnut Hill and Lankenau Hospitals in Philadelphia as well as essential workers at the Philadelphia Fire Department’s Engine #8. Talson employees also made donations to the Philadelphia COVID-19 Fund, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, and the Los Angeles
In May of 2020, our President, Robert S. Bright led an informative and engaging webinar panel discussion entitled “What We Know Now: Impact of the Coronavirus on Public Transportation.” The panel consisted of transit executives from across the US, and was facilitated by the REAL Professionals Network.
Talson employees extended caring hands to the staff at Main Line Health Lankenau Medical Center in the Philadelphia region with 65 lunches just to say “thank you” for their service. Let’s all continue to show our appreciation to the essential workers who tirelessly serve throughout the US during this COVID-19 crisis.
Robert S. Bright, President of Talson, participated in a panel discussion entitled “ABC’s of P3’s and MWDBE’s” at the Public-Private Partnership (P3) Conference & Expo in Dallas, TX, in March of 2020. This session explored best practices designed to ensure participation of Minority, Women and Disabled-Owned Business Enterprises on P3 projects on such topics as equity, legal, technology, procurement, design, construction, and other professional services.
Talson’s Kenneth Brzozowski participated in a panel discussion at the Institute of Internal Auditors Philadelphia Chapter’s Fall Conference in November of 2019. Talson was also an event sponsor and exhibited during the day-long conference.
In October, 2019, President of Talson, Robert S. Bright participated in “Mission to Panama” in Panama City, Panama. This event was sponsored by The Americas Society and Council of the Americas. Mr. Bright was part of an exclusive group of senior foreign executives and investors who joined high level Panamanian officials (Ministers of Commerce, Investment, Foreign Affairs, etc.) and the President of Panama, the Honorable H.E. Laurentino Cortizo, to discuss investment opportunities and prospects for the country.
Talson attended and exhibited at the 2019 Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA) AuditCon in Baltimore, Maryland in September, 2019. ACUA is committed to increasing members’ knowledge of auditing, regulatory compliance and risk management in higher education.
