Talson Solutions has been invited to present at The Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA) 33rd Annual Conference in Salt Lake City from May 21-24, 2023. The conference will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual learning platforms.
Talson Solutions will be presenting two educational sessions at the conference. On May 21st, Robert S. Bright, President & Founder, and Kenneth Brzozowski, Director of Audit Services, will present “Construction Auditing 101.” This session will provide an introduction and overview of the basics of construction auditing. Participants will gain an understanding of a construction project’s project life cycle and the critical areas to conduct a construction audit.
On May 21st, Robert Bright and Ken Brzozowski will also present “Adding Your Value Through a Construction Audit,” which will focus on the role that internal auditors can play in adding value to capital program stakeholders. The presentation will dive deeper into critical areas of risk and how auditors can promote risk mitigation steps to benefit all stakeholders.
The AAIA was created in 1989 to address the unique needs of airport auditors around the world. With over 60 airport members from across the globe, the AAIA provides resources and experiences to make airport auditors more effective and efficient. The conference will offer at least 18 hours of NASBA approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
